Up to 19th Oct, 2005, Electricity Authority of Cambodia has issued three types of licenses for the electric power services in Cambodia. The licenses granted and the Licensees are as follows:

1-Consolidate License:

  1. Electricity Du Cambodge (EDC)- Consolidate License issued on  February 1, 2002 . This license comprises :
     

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity for the purpose of supply through its transmission or distribution system;

    2. National Transmission License- giving the right to transmit electricity for the purpose of supply to any distribution system and bulk power consumers throughout Kingdom of Cambodia except the territories served by isolated systems;

    3. Distribution license- giving the right to distribute and supply electricity to any premise in the authorized areas such as the cities of  Phnom Penh  and Sihanoukville, provincial towns of  Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Battambang and Takeo, and districts of Ponhea Krek, Memot and Bavit.

  1. Hour Peng- Consolidate License issued on April 01, 2002. This license comprises :
     

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phoum Tros, Khum Balang, Baray district, Kampong Thom province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Hour Peng to distribute and supply to consumers in Kampong Thmar town located in Khum Balang, Baray district and Khum Kampong Thmar located in Sontuk district of Kampong Thom province.

  2. Sung Jing & Chilbo Industrial Co., LTD- Consolidate License issued on August 9, 2002. This license comprises of:
     

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at provincial town of Kampong Thom, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to distribute and supply electricity to consumers in the Authorized distribution areas (provincial town).

  3. Mak Thorn- Consolidate License issued on September 06, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Kampong, Khum Preah Bathchanchum, Kirivong District, Takeo Province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Mak Thorn to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Kampong, Khum Preah Bathchanchum, Kirivong District, Takeo Province.

  4. Srey Sokhom-Cosolidate License issued on November 22,2002. This License comprise of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Samrongyorng town, khum trapaingsab, Baty district, Takeo provice, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Srey Sokhom to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Samrongyorng town, khum Trapaingsab, Baty district, Takeo provice.

  5. Ke Kuyhuoy- Consolidate License issued on November 22, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Kompongchrey town located in districts of Trang and Koh Andet, Takeo provice, for the porpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ke Kuyhuoy to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Kompongchrey town located in districts of Trang and Koh Andet, Takeo provice.

  6. Bun Liv- Consolidate License issued on November 29, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Neak Loeung town (east of Mekong river), Peam district, Prey Veng province, for the purposes of supply of electric power to its  distribution system;

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Bun Liv to distribution and supply to consumers in Neak Loeung town (east of Mekong river), Peam district, Prey Veng province.

  1. Ky Sophear- Consolidate License issued on November 29, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at  Phsar Snaypol town, khum Roka, Pearang district, Prey Veng province, for the purpose of supply of elestric power to its distribution system;

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ky Sophear to distribution and supply to comsumers in Phsar Snaypol town, khum Roka, Pearang district, Prey Veng province.

  2. Te Kok Eng- Consolidate License isuued on December 12, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at khum Treal town, Baray district, Kompong Thom province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system;

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Te Kok Eng to distribute and supply to sonsumers in khum Treal town, Baray district, Kompong Thom province.

  3. Chhou Lay- Consolidate License isuued on December 30, 2002. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Preylvear town, khum Preylvear, Preykabar district, Takeo province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chhou Lay to distribute and supply to consumers in Preylvear town, khum Preylvear, Preykabas district, Takeo Province.

  4. Nov Sokha- Consolidate License issued on December 30, 2002. This licence comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Neak Looeung town (west of Mekong river), Leuk Dek district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Nov Sokha to distribute and supply to consumers in Neak Loeung town (west of Mekong river),   Leuk Dek district, Kandal province.

  5. Kong Phat- Consolidate license issued on February 11, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Thmarsor, khum Korkpor, Boreychuolsar district, Takeo province

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Kong Phat to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Thmarsor, khum Kokrpor, Boreychuolsar, Takeo province.

  6. Khun Sambo- Consolidate license issued on February 11, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at phsar Preytoteung town, Pryechhor district, Kompong Cham province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Khun Sambo to distribute and supply to consumers in phsar Preytoteung town, Preychhor district, Kompong Cham province.

  7. Chang Bunnaret- Consolidate license issued on Mar 12, 2003. This license comprise of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Phaav Town, khum Phaav, Batheay district, Kampong Cham province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chang Bunnaret to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Phaav Town, Khum Phaav, Batheay district, Kampong Cham province.

  8. Kuy Suor- Consolidate license issued on Mar 12, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Suong town, Khum Suong, Tbongkhmum district, Kampong Cham Province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Kuy Suor to distribute and supply to consumers inPhsar Suong town, Khum Suong, Tbongkhmum district, Kampong Cham province.

  9. Samreth Sothy- Consolidate license issued on Mar 12, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Sre Ambel district town, Kok Kong province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Samreth Sothy to distribute and supply to consumers in Sre Ambel district town, Kok Kong province.

  10. Sok Thy- consolidate license issued on Mar 12, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Vealreinh town, khan Preynob, Sihanoukville.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Sok Thy to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Vealreinh town. Khan Preynob, Sihanoukville.

  11. Ly Bunthy- Consolidate license issued on Mar 13, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Sangkat Tumnub Rolok and Sangkat Kampenh, Khan Stoeung Hav, Sihanoukville.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ly Bunthy to distribute and supply to consumers in sangkatTumnub Rolok and Sangkat Kampenh, Khan Stoeung Hav, Sihanoukville.

  12. Chan Thun- Consolidate-license issued on Mar 13, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at provincial town of Preah Vihear.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chan Thun to distribute and supply to consumers in provincial town of Preah Vihear.

  13. Nhen Kong- Consolidate license issued on Mar 13, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Tangkok town, khum Soyong, Baray district, Kampong Thom province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Nhen Kong to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Tangkok town, Khum Soyong, Baray district, Kampong Thom Province.

  14. Chhuor Nguon- Consolidate license issued on Apr 09, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Boeung Khna town, Khum Boeung Khna, Bakan district, Pursat province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chhuor Nguon to distribute and supply to consumers in Phsar Boeung Khna town, khum Boeung Khna, Bakan district, Pursat province.

  15. Toem Touch- Consolidate license issued on Apr 09, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at khum Trapaing chong, Bakan district, Pursat province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Toem Touch to distribute and supply to consumers in khum Trapaing Chong, Bakan district, Pursat province.

  16. Vonn Vireak- Consolidate license issued on Apr 09, 2003. This license comprises of

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Pourk district town, Siemreap province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Vonn Vireak to distribute and supply to consumers in Pourk district town, Siemreap province.

  17. Pauch Kim- Consolidate license issued on Apr 09, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Kar-Andoeuk town town, khum Brasath, Kompong Trabek district, Prey Veng province.

    1. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Pauch Kim to distribute and supply to consumers in Kar-Andoeuk town, Khum Brasath, Kompong Trabek district, Prey Veng province.

  18. Kry Bunthong- Consolidate license issued on May 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Rokakang, khum Rokakang 1, Muk Kompul district, Kandal province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Kry Bunthong to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Rokakang, Khum Rokakang 1, Muk Kompul district, Kandal province.

  19. Seang Seng- Consolidate license issued on May 20, 2003. This license comprises of : 

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Thnalbek, Khum Svayteab, Chamkaleu district, Kampong Cham Province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Khut Bunpech to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Thnalbek, khum Sayteab, Chamkaleu district, Kaompong Cham provinse.

  20. Kim Chandara- Consolidate license issued on May 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Thnal Cheat, khum Baray, Baraydistrict, Kampong Thom province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Kim Chandara to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Thnal Cheat, khum Baray, Baray district, Kampong Thom province.

  21. Mak Heat- Consolidate license issued on May 26, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Punley, khum Punley, Boribo district, Kampong Chnang province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Mak Heat to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Punley, khum punley, Boribo district, Kampong Chnang province.

  22. Ty sokorn- Consolidate license issued on May 26, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Salalekpram, khum O resey, Kompong Tralach district, Kampong Chnang province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ty Sakorn to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Salalekpram, khum O Resey, Kampong Tralach district, Kampong Chnang province.

  23. Mr Kong Sophal- Consolidate license issued on May 26, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at phum Prapaing Ropao, khum Prekthnot, kampot district, Kampot province.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Muy Kuan to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Prapaing Ropao, khum Prekthnot, Kampot district, Kampot province.

  24. Lay Se-Consolidate license issued on July 01, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Thmor Kol, khum Tapoung, Thmor Kol district, battambang province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license-giving the right to Mr. Lay Se to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Thmor Kol, Khum Tapoung, Thmor Kol district, Battambang province.

  25. Mr. Kong Puthy- Consolidate license issued on July 01, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Satpong, khum Satpong, Chhouk district, Kampot province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Tong Kimsok to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Satpong, khum Satpong, Chhouk district, Kampot province.

  26. Keo Dara- Consolidate license issued on Aug 18, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation lisense- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Kampong Popel, Khum Kampong Popel, Pearang district, Prey Veng province, for the purpose of supply of electic power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Keo Dara to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Kampong Popel, Khum Kompong Popel, Peamrang district, Prey Veng province.

  27. Seng Sokun- Consolidate license on Aug 18, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Pochendan, Khum Svay Antor, Prey Veng district, Prey Veng province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Seng Sokun to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Pochendam, Khum Svay Antor, Prey Veng district, Prey Veng province.

  28. Mom Dara- Consolidate license on Aug 18,2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Pana, Khum Ssoteb, Cheung Prey district, Kampong Cham province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Mom Dara to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Pana, Khum Soteb, Cheung Prey district, Kampong Cham province.

  29. Chhom Sophay- consolidate license on Aug 18, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Domdek Phsar, Khum Domdek, Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chhom Sophay to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Domdek Phar, Khum Domdek, Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province.

  30. Mrs. Khiev Nareth- Consolidate license on Aug 18,2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Prekpan, Khum Troeuysla, Sa Ang district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Khiev Narath to distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Prekpan, Khum Troeuysla, Sa Ang district, Kandal province.

  31. Long Nget- Consolidate license on Sept 09, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Thnal Tatoeung, Khum Dam Nak Ampil, Ang Snoul district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Long Nget distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Thnal Tatoeung, Khum Dam Nak Ampil, Ang Snoul district, Kandal province.

  32. Mrs. Ouch Por- Consolidate license on Sept 09, 2003.this license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Sayva, Khum Tang Yab, Prey Kabas district, Takeo province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license-giving the right to Mrs. Ouch Por distribute and supply to consumers in Phum Sayva, Khum Tang Yab, Prey Kabas district, Takeo province.

  33. Pak Hien- Consolidate license on Oct 07, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Prey Sandek, Khum Prey sleuk, Tang district, Takeo province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Pak Hien distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Prey Sandek, Khum Prey Sleuk, Tang district, Takeo province.

  34. Ngeuk Teary- Consolidate license on Oct 07, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Tlok Kravann, Khum Bos Knor, Chamkar Leu district, kampong Cham province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Sieng Khun distribution and supply to consumres in Phum Tlok Kravann, Khum Bos Knor, Chamkar Leu district, Kampong Cham province

  35. Mr. Chin Sohin- Consolidate license on Oct 07, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Boeung Deng, Khum Prek Kok, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mrs. Heng Phirun distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Boeung Deng, khum Prek kok, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham province.

  36. Chay Neng- Consolidate license on Oct 07, 2003. This license comprises of:

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Svay Ming, Khum Bakour, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Lor Nguon distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Svay Ming, Khum Bakour, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province.

  37. Electricity of Kratie province- Consolidate license on Oct 07, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricaty at Phum Kratie, Khum Kratie, Kratie district, Kratie province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Electricity of Kratie province distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Kratie, Khum Kratie, Kratie district, Kratie province.

  38. Earm Sreng- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Obeng, Khum Mesorchrey, Steng Trang district, Kampong Cham district, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr Lim Sokonn distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Obeng, Khum Mesorchrey, Steng Trang district, Kampong Cham province.

  39. Khoeun Sambath- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Ang Snoul, Khum Peuk Ang, Ang Snoul district, Kadal province, for the purpose of supply of electric power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Khoeun Sambath distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Ang Snoul, Khum Peuk Ang, Ang Snoul districl, Kandal province.

  40. Keb Borey- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003.This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Prek Kdam1, Khum Kohchen, Ponhealeu district, Kandal provice, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Keb Borey distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Prek Kdam1, Khum Kohchen, Ponhealeu district, Kandal province.

  41. Ong Hoksin- Consolidate licenseon on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Chheu Teal, Khum Kampong Chintbong, Stong district, Kampong Thom province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ong Hoksin distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Chheu Teal, Khum Kampong Chintbong, Stong district, Kampong Thom province.

  42. Chin Seng- Consolidate license on Dec 28, 2005. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phsar Tramkhnar Town , Khum Chung Rouk, Kongpisey   District, Kampong Speu  Province and Khum Sophy, Baty District ,Takeo Province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Ut Thy distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Krabey Tram, Khum Chung Rouk, Pisey district, Kampong Speu province.

  43. Chou Sroan- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Mean, Khum Mean, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Chou Sroan distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Mean, Khum Mean, Prey Chhor district, Kandal province.

  44. Pean Sokhalay- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Krom, Khum Prek Ang Chanh, Muk Kampol district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Pean Sokhalay distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Krom, Khum Prek Ang Chanh, Muk Kampol district, Kandal province.

  45. Sok Hoy- Consolidate license on Nov 20, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Phsar Trapaing Kraloeung, Khum Kirivoan, Phnom Rsuoch district, Kampong Speu province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Sok Hoy distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Phsar Trpaing Kraloeung, Khum Kirivoan, Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province.

  46. Touch Montha- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Kok Ampil, Khum Phnom Sampov, Banoan district, Battambang province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Touch Montha distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Kok Ampil, Khum Phnom Sampov, Banoan district, Battambang province. 

  47. Nop Bin- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Sdao, Khum Sdao, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Nop Bin distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Sdao, Khum Sdao, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province.

  48. Bou Boeun- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Poy Samrong, Khum Tapoung, Thmor Kol district, Battambang provinc, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Bou Boeun distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Poy Samrong, Khum Tapoung, Thmor Kol district, Battambang province.

  49. Heng Tray- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Prek Roun, Khum Prek Roy, Saang district, Kandal province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right to Mr. Heng Tray distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Prek Roun, Khum Prek Roy, Saang district, Kandal province.

  50. Ya Sam Bat- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :

    1. Generation license- giving the right to generate electricity at Phum Svay Daun Keo 1, Khum Svay Daun Keo, Bakan district, Porsat province, for the purpose of supply of electricity power to its distribution system.

    2. Distribution license- giving the right To Mr. Ya Sam Bat distribution and supply to consumers in Phum Svay Daun Keo 1, Khum Svay Daun Keo, Bakan district, Porsat province.

  51. Treung San- Consolidate license on Dec 16, 2003. This license comprises of :
