Ministry
of Industry Mines and Energy was issued the general
requirements of Electric Power Technical Standards
of the Kingdom of Cambodia on July 14, 2004. The
general requirements of Electric Power Technical
Standards was prepared and cooperated with Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The extent
of this standard includes:
General Requirements of Electric Power Technical
Standards,
Specific Requirements for Thermal Power Generating
Facilities, Hydro-Power,
Specific Requirements for T& D Facilities, and
Indoor Cable Installation.
The
way of T&D electricity which have to plan and
construct with processing in Cambodia must be follow
the Electric Power Technical Standards of Kingdom of
Cambodia. In case any issue has no meanings in EPTS,
must follow the International Electro-technical
Commission (IEC). If this issue has no specify in
IEC standards, must follow the International
Standard Organization (ISO). If this issue still has
no specify in ISO standards, must follow any
standard international recognition with agreement
from Ministry of Industry Mines and Energy.
All
requirements specified in this standard purpose to
avoid danger of electricity way and to have safety
in process of electricity way.
